2. Saya tahu saudara datang untuk lihat dan dengar Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh. I’m realistic enough to accept that fact. Jadi saya nak manfaatkan waktu ini, betul kita nak lancarkan ‘I LITE YOU’.
3. Thank you again to all Ministers and ministries and Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur for supporting this event. But it is a rare honour, a real pleasure and a distinguished honour for all Malaysians that we have with us, the outstanding Madame Morrible of the ‘Wicked’ and the first Asian Oscar winner!
4. So, I thought I’ll do away with all the protocols, arrangements and formal speeches you ever heard me before, you could hear again. So, let us hear from her.
5. Now, she’s an outstanding actress. I mean, versatile in all sorts of characters and she stood with that discipline and zeal. And I would say, then let us hear from her, what is it that drive her to prove that a Malaysian girl from a remote town in Perak could come up and emerge as a great Hollywood star? The floor is yours.
6. Saya nak akhiri ucapan dengan menyatakan bahawa industri pelancongan itu sesuatu yang berkembang, tetapi ia berjaya kerana negara ini aman. Ia berjaya kerana semua kaum. Seperti yang kita lihat di sini, dari semua negeri dan kalau kita lihat tadi, First Asian Oscar, Michelle Yeoh!
7. Jadi, saya ucap terima kasih, ‘I LITE YOU’, kita saksikan sebentar tadi. Terima kasih, YB Nga Kor Ming, YB Hannah Yeoh. Wah! YB Hannah Yeoh jaga Kuala Lumpur sekarang.
