BILATERAL MEETING WITH HIS EXCELLENCY LI QIANG, PREMIER OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA

Again, thank you very much I know how hectic your schedule is with so many foreign guests here and tomorrow is a big day for the anniversary, but as you said, we had our Independence Day celebrations. Thank you for your best wishes and from the celebration immediately I went to the airport and we do it only to friends to reliable, trusted friends.

Thank you. Thanks President Xi Jinping for the invitation as his personal guest as Chairman of the SCO and tomorrow, of course I look forward to because as I said at the forum and also before the Tianjin University lecture, that it is not just a celebration of resistance, it is a declaration to the world that enough of injustice,

colonialism, aggression and killings and to promote peace because millions of lives are lost.

Sometimes we celebrate, we forget the fact that millions of families suffered in the process, so it is to remind them and to say not again, enough of this.

And then with President Xi Jinping of course we discussed some issues on first trade investments which we’ll have to follow up with you, but please be assured Premier Li Qiang, as of course Premier and also as a friend will continue to make sure that this work and whatever has been agreed upon will follow through very seriously.
