SEPANG, Aug 1 2018 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was tonight given the honour of launching the newly-installed circuit lights at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) here.
Dr Mahathir was also prime minister when he launched the state-of-the-art facility back in 1999, fuelling the development of Malaysian motorsports along the way.
"It's a great honour to be launching this very important addition to the facilities at SIC," he said.
