Rosmah Wants Society To Maintain Caring Attitude | 04/09/2010
Untitled document PEKAN, Sept 4 2010 (Bernama) -- The prime minister's wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, wants Malaysians to continue to be together with the government in assisting the less fortunate group in the country.

"The responsibility to look after the welfare of the less fortunate group should not be left to the government alone," she said in her speech at a breaking of the fast with orphans in the Pekan parliamentary constituency, here Saturday.

She said that the government, through the various agencies, constantly implemented various programmes to ensure that orphans were not left out of the mainstream of develeopment.

She later presented hari raya contributions to 200 orphans in the Pekan parliamentary constituency.

Rosmah said that by organising the various charity programmes, society had the opportunity to contribute and fulfill the needs of the less fortunate group.
