PUTRAJAYA, July 3 2010 (Bernama) -- Educational institutions must keep abreast with the latest developments and learn the latest teaching and learning technique to ensure that they continue to be on top, said Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.

The prime minister's wife said these institutions should in fact pool their resources to work on an integrated approach to ensure that they honed their position and performance.

She said this at a charity dinner here tonight organised by the Kolej Tunku Kursiah.

"The college must also strengthen and update its learning module and enhance the skills of its teaching staff so that they will be better trained to maintain quality in efforts to improve the performance of the students and the reputation of the college," she said.

Rosmah, who is a former student of the college, said the Parent-Teacher's Association (PTA) also had an important mandate in assisting the government to improve excellence among the students, whether in the academic or co curriculum aspects.
