"Apart from the yearly promotional show in London, why not we switch our direction to countries where Malaysia is not well known," she told reporters after accepting a courtesy call by international talk show celebrity and lifestyle guru Martha Stewart, at her official residence here on Thursday.

The Prime Minister's wife also urged the relevant authorities to source for more innovative and effective form of promotion rather than just placing advertisements that can be expensive.

In welcoming the Tourism Ministry's effort to bring Stewart to the country as a strategic promotional move, Rosmah said it can help promote Malaysia to the western world.
