KUALA LUMPUR, July 25 2012 (Bernama) -- A total of 110 orphans from around the federal capital were happy that they could break the fast with the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, and his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, here Tuesday night.
At the function organised by the Persatuan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Islam Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (Perkayatim), the orphans also received contributions presented by Najib and Rosmah, who is also the patron of Perkayatim.
Also receiving the contributions were four students who obtained outstanding results in the Peperiksaan Menengah Rendah (PMR) and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2011.
Perkayatim had collected a total of RM237,000 from January up to July this year, with RM88,800 distributed as special Hari Raya contributions.
